It’s the most beautiful time of the year again! This year, we’ve combined the BEST activities we could think of that would make anyone feel the holiday spirit and enjoy LA the most. Here are the top activities to do in LA so you’ll know what to do during the holidays:

  1. Ice Skate At L.A Live 
The annual LA Kings Holiday Ice presented by Coca-Cola brings outdoor ice skating to L.A. LIVE on Xbox Plaza right out front of STAPLES Center. Skate your way into the holiday season and enjoy the rink while it is here for a limited season. The LA Kings Holiday Ice rink will be open from November 27, 2021, through January 7, 2022. Bring your friends, family, date, or enjoy the rink before and after a sports game or concert!

2. Let it GLOW At The South Coast Botanic Garden

South Coast Botanic Garden’s GLOW (or Garden Lights & Ocean Waters) has been reimagined for its sophomore year. Guests can expect a better and brighter experience. Food, drinks, music, and a transformative Garden featuring thousands of lights will have you hanging on the beach, drinking cocktails on the bayou, and chasing waterfalls. And a stunning kelp forest will take your breath away and spark your interest in the beauty of the sea. This year’s exhibit also includes interactive experiences and themed nights (more information coming).

3. The Elf On The Shelf’s Magical Holiday Journey

With Christmas Spirit running low, Santa’s sleigh had to make an emergency landing. Now, Scout Elf Tiny Tinkerman and Santa’s best Scout Elves need your help! Join them on a quest to build more Christmas Spirit, as you and your elf-loving crew magically shrink down to elf size and embark on a fun expedition through dazzling outdoor winter wonderland to help repair Santa’s sleigh!

4. Drinks at Tinseltown Pop-up Bar

If you love Christmas and getting into the festive spirit then this is the bar for you. This bar will be decked out in all the festive glory from trees to tinsel galore.  Expect Chrstimas tunes, Christmas drinks and of course more tinsel than you can shake your cracker at.
This pop up will be running across  December – so if you’re not a scrooge then come get some much needed festive cheer here at Tinseltown.

5. Volunteer Or Donate To The LA Food Bank

Every $1 donated provides enough food for 4 meals to feed hungry children, seniors and families.

6. Explore The Dodgers Holiday Festival

The 2021 Dodgers Holiday Festival will feature an open-air ice skating rink in the outfield and Northern Lights display, among other interactive areas.The Holiday Festival will be open from 5-10 p.m. PT on weekdays, and 3-10 p.m. on weekends, beginning Friday, November 26, and extending through December 31, 2021.

7. Festival Of Lights At The Mission Inn

For 29 years the Festival of Lights has brought us tremendous joy in presenting it to this wonderful Inland Southern California community.  The Mission Inn Hotel & Spa’s Annual Festival of Lights accent the holidays in a very special way. 
The Festival of Lights will commence the day after Thanksgiving on Friday, November 26, 2021, and The Inn’s six-week holiday merriment will be celebrated until Thursday, January 6, 2022.

8. See an Outdoor Holiday Movie

Why watch movies indoors, when you can enjoy the holiday cheers and ambiance outdoors? Watching your favorite holiday movies has never been jollier!

9. SkyPark at Santa’s Village

Meet Santa and Mrs. Claus, visit the North Pole, go ice skating, or treat yourself to a special holiday experience like cookie decorating.
